Hello Everyone! Are you all working on your Easter cards right now? Well, I have a treat to share with you, a gorgeous Easter card from our own Chari Hogsett!
I absolutely love this card! Chari used our Creative Impressions Stamp set Y562 to create this card. She stamped the Cross using navy blue ink, cut it out and then backed it with a piece of green card stock. This was then adhered to a navy blue card stock panel with a punched design in the corners. She then set this panel aside.
"Easter Blessings" was stamped on a piece of scrap white card stock and mounted to a scrap piece of navy blue. This was set aside. Now she took the navy blue panel and adhered it towards the left side of a white card. The Easter Blessings panel was also adhered at this time towards the center right of the card. A piece of our Olive Green Crepe Ribbon (70138) was wrapped around the card with a bow tied in the center just underneath the navy panel.
Finally, Chari created a lovely white flower using our Medium Sheer Blossom in Pastel (60601) with two small Felt Leaves (Heritage 62002) and a White Mini Round 90111. This flower was then adhered to the navy panel at the base of the cross.
You will see that there is a lovely embossed panel at the bottom of the card. Chari's card came like this, however, it would be quite easy to made your own using an embossing folder. She added some navy blue ink to the scallop pattern on the bottom of the front panel. Super easy and gorgeous card!
