More Valentines for You!

Hello Everyone:  I have two more Valentines to share with you for this blog - one Vintage style and another using Creative Impressions ready made "Love" Felt Shape.  Here they are:

This first card uses our new My Sentiments Exactly Stamps along with new Creative Impressions embellishments!  I die cut a large white heart from a Nesting set of dies and stamped the Cupid Collage over the top.  I then used colored pencils to add just a little color to the collage image.  I tried to match them with the card stock color I chose.

Next, I adhered a piece of our new Burgundy Web Ribbon ( 70197 ) using Matte Medium to the center of a burgundy card stock panel.  I then cut a piece of our new 5/8" Gold Organdy  & Satin Center Ribbon  (70450 ) and adhered it over the top of the Web Ribbon, wrapping the ends around to the back of the panel.  This panel was then adhered to a white scrap, a striped patterned paper piece and finally a white card.

To finish, I used foam take to adhere the heart over the card and added a gold bow to the top center of the heart.

This card was extremely easy to create.  I used a patterned paper similar to the first card along with our Heart Felt Shape (63130).  I cut a piece of pink card stock and notched the bottom.  I then adhered it to a slightly larger red card stock mat.  I wrapped a piece of our 3/8" White with Red Hearts Ribbon                 (80126)  around the "banner" and tied a bow.  To finish the banner, I adhered the Felt Shape "Love" towards the bottom and finished by adding some Heart Bling (50535) in 3 places.

To a white card I adhered a red panel, a pink panel and finally a patterned paper panel.  The pink "banner piece created previously was adhered over the  panel with foam tape.  Easy peasy!

Hope you have enjoyed these Valentines!

Be Mine

Hello Everyone:  Just a quick post today with a new Valentine Card.  I used multiple MSE/Creative Impressions polymer stamp images along with our lovely embellishments to create  a slightly different Valentine card with only one heart on it, but you still know it's a Valentine.

I used the MSE "B"set Y560 and one of the images from YT579 Twin Birds to create this card. I love the fact that there are other words that go along with the letter "B" besides "Mine".  There is "inspired", "yourself", "creative", "loved and "beautiful".

All the card stock used were pieces  of scraps stamped, cut out and matted with small pieces of black card stock scraps.  Before positioning over a piece of  patterned paper adhered to a black mat and then to a white card, I added a Green Felt Leaf (62303), a bow made from Magenta 1/4 Grid Ribbon (70282)    and a Metallic Red Country Heart ( 90331) to the middle of the letter "B".  I also stapled a piece of our Ribbon Expressions Hugs and Kisses Twill ( 80359), to the card.  Two small mini Rounds ( 90190)          were placed, one over the "i" and the other in the center of the swirl.  Someone told me it looked like a cat now and that's all I see, but there's nothing wrong with that, is there?

Hope you like this card.  More Valentine's to come!

On the Way to Valentine's Day!

Hard to believe we are in January already!  Valentine's Day will be here before you know it, so I thought I would get a head start on some cards for you; well actually a card and a tag made with our MSE stamps and Creative Impressions Embellishments!

First, the card:

The MSE stamps used were Cupid, Happy Valentine's Day (G547), and Be Mine from Y546 Be Mine Sentiments.  I hand cut the Cupid and adhered it to a panel with a previously adhered heart die cut from a piece of  patterned paper.  (if you don't have die cuts and a machine, you can used a heart template and hand cut the heart).  The "Happy Valentine's Day" was stamped on a scrap of white card stock, cut out, adhered to a piece of black scrap and finally adhered with pop dots over the heart.

I used 1/'4" Red Glimmer Ribbon (70250) to create a bow which was adhered to the top of the heart.  Then I wrapped a piece of Black/White Baker's Twine (80713) around the center of the bow.

This entire white panel was adhered to a black card stock mat, then to a piece of patterned paper and finally to a white card.

To finish, I stamped "Be Mine" and the Hearts onto the right bottom portion of the card panel.

Now for the tag:

I hand cut a tag and adhered some Red Web Ribbon (70180) about three quarters down from the top of the tag.  I cut an inverted "V" into the bottom of this piece.  Then I stamped "be mine" and the hearts from MSE set # Y546 towards the bottom of the tag,

I previously stamped the Cupid Tag onto a scrap of white card stock, cut it out and punched a hole at the top of the tag.  I ran a piece of Black/White Baker's Twine (80713) through the hole I made at the top of the tag, through the tag and tied a bow at the top.

Hope you enjoy this card and tag and are inspired to make your own.  Happy Valentine's Day from all of us at Creative Impressions!
