An Elegant Valentine for You!

 Hello Everyone!  Today Creative Impressions is featuring an elegant Valentine that was certainly easy to create with the right stamp and embellishments:

Our Wood Mounted Stamp (W361) was stamped with clear pigment ink and embossed with detail gold embossing powder on a piece of black cardstock.  Then I stamped just the heart area on a piece of scrap with clear pigment ink and embossed with red powder.  The heart was cut out and offset onto the original gold heart using foam tape.

Wanting to match the red of the heart, I "smooshed" the clear pigment ink around the edges of a white card and embossed it with the red embossing power.  Voila! Matching cardstock!  All that was left to do was add three Metallic Red Country Hearts (90331) to the card, including one in the center of my embossed heart and a lovely Gold 5/8" Organdy and Satin Center Ribbon (70450).  

The entire piece was added to a white card and it was done!  Fast and Easy!
