Musical Valentine!

Hello Everyone:  If you are like me you are wondering how the time went so fast and we are already thinking of sending Valentines!  Creative Impressions has some wonderful Stamps and Embellishments to make Valentine cards easy to make!  Here is a musical one I think is fun!  Might make one for my hubby too (shhh!)

I saw this piano card on Pinterest and decided I could cut the same curve and piano keys for my folded card.  I made myself a template for the curve and laid it on top of the front of a folded white card.  Then I did the same on a piece of black card stock that I set aside.  I decided how long I wanted to make my piano keys and cut strips of white  card stock, rounding the one end by hand or with the use of a corner rounder.  I adhered them to the card front and then cut some thinner and shorter black strips, again rounding one edge to create some black keys.

I used Creative Impressions Velvet Red Shimmer Ribbon (70970) to go over the top of my piano keys, wrapping the edges around the black panel.  Then I added the Felt Word "Love" (63130 Heart) above the ribbon and then a Music Note from (63200 Music Notes) above that with a Red Medium Heart Paper Fastener (90103) in the center.  Now it was time to adhere the black panel to the card front.

Now to finish the card, I placed a red panel onto the inside card back.  It shows nicely on the front of the card behind the image of the piano.

Now to hide a beautiful sentiment behind the piano front - (Y226 Love Cards Innies and Outies) .                            Don't you think this goes perfectly with the card theme?  It just needed a black music note (63200) next to it and the card was done!
