On Your Wedding Day!

Hello Everyone:  Today I would like to share with you a wedding card created by "Yours Truly":

I know quite a few people getting married and wanted to create a sweet card to celebrate their day.

I began by stamping the horse, coach and sentiment on scrap white cardstock.  This set is Number YCC221 Wedding Carriage Silhouette.  I used navy blue ink for the carriage and sentiment and brown for the horse.  These images were then all cut out and set aside.

I used a piece of patterned paper for the background and adhered it to a darker green cardstock panel.  I then punched a strip of light paper with a border punch  and adhered it towards to bottom of the panel.  I used our fun Grid Ribbon (70278 Green Apple) and wrapped it over the decorative strip and to the back of the panel.  Two Medium Pastel Heart Brads (90394) were then added to either far side of the ribbon.

To finish the card, all that was left to do was add three Yellow Pastel Mini Hearts (90395) to the axle of the carriage wheels and one for the dot on the word "Wedding".  This added a lot of interest to the pieces.  The sentiment and carriage were attached to the card panel with foam dots and a blue 1/8" Organdy (70604) bow was adhered to the neck of the horse. To finish, the entire panel was adhered to a white folded card.

Done!  You have to admit that this card was pretty easy to put together and results in a darling card for any couple.  Now it's your turn!

Happy crafting!

Susan
