Mother's Day Card

Hello Everyone!  Mother's Day is only a few weeks off, so we would like to share with you a lovely card for Mom:

 This card was made with coordinating design paper scraps meeting towards the top of the card.  After adhering them to a black mat slightly smaller than an A2 white card, I adhered a border punched strip to the bottom of a piece of our 1/2" Dot Ribbon (Aqua with Yellow 70422).  This piece was then adhered to the card where the design papers met.  A piece of our Single Stitch Ribbon (Aqua with Yellow 70903) was then added over the top of the Dot Ribbon to a dd more interest.  Finally a yellow bow made with our Mustard Thin Jute Twine (80611) was added to the ribbon.

To create the Blossom flower, I used a variety of Blossoms (Large Tropical Sheer Leaf 60700, Pastel Blue Iridescent 61201, Medium Sheer White 60601, Small  Iridescent Pastel 61001and attached them all together with a Blue Soft Glimmer Round 90901.  I set this aside before moving to the next step.

I stamped "Happy Mother's Day (                    ) with black ink onto a white scrap and added a slightly larger blue mat.  This was adhered to the bottom right of the panel.  Then the Flower Blossom was attached slightly above the left side of the sentiment.

There you have it!  Creative Impressions blossoms really add a lovely touch to any card!
