Hello Everyone! Now that we are past Valentine's Day, it's time to think ahead to St. Patrick's Day! My husband is from Chicago and it is quite the deal there! Although we live in Colorado now, I still love the day and the wonderful Irish Blessings that go along with it. Here is a card I created for the occasion:
I believe the paper is from Authentique and the sentiment from My Sentiments Exactly. Of course no card would have that finished look without some fabulous embellishments from Creative Impressions. The dark green twine was wrapped around the paper and green card stock panel 3 times, leaving a tail at the beginning to thread through one of the holes in the green button from CI. Once wrapped, I threaded the end of the twine through the second button hole and tied a bow on the backside of the button. Easy!
Hope you start thinking about creating some St. Patty's day cards. Don't forget the Creative Impressions embellishments!

How do I Love Thee?
Valentine Tag
This was a fun chance to incorporate lettering on this Valentine tag. I'm a super-novice, so don't look too closely!
Creative Impressions has so many hearts! Brads, felt hearts and felt script combine with ribbon and natural twine.
I started with tea stained #10 tag. I layered a strip of pink cotton fabric on the left, stitched with Creative Impressions natural twine. I laid out the embellishments so I could get an idea how to space the lettering.
Hope you're having fun with your valentines. Valentine's Day is a paper crafter's dream holiday!
