Origami Christmas Poinsettia Card

Hello Everyone:  Here's a different Christmas card that's easy to make!

And yes, we love easy at Creative Impressions!  I made lots of this card for my Christmas card this year.  Easy to make in an assembly line!

To make the origami square, you will need a 4" square of double sided patterned paper.  Just fold the square in half diagonally, open it up, fold the opposite direction diagonally, open it up, fold each corner to the center where the diagonals meet and then fold each edge to the outside.  I finished this square by adding a felt "Poinsettia" ( Med Heritage Felt Blossom 62102) with green Felt Leaves ( Heritage 62002)_                     attached together with a Yellow Mini Round ( 90112 ).  I poked a hole in the center of the square and threaded the flower through.  To finish, I cut a square of green cardstock 3" and glued the origami piece to the green square

All that was left to do was add a Holiday sentiment to the card and a double bow with Green and Burgundy (80601 and 80600) Thin Twine.  Ready to send and took minimal time to make!

Hope you will try this fun technique.

Enjoy!

Susan
